DESCRIPTION

Eagle Claw looks like a kind of ancient ceremonial artifact or weapon with years of living growth obscuring some of its original details while providing additional details of its own. What did it look like underneath the living cocoon? Was it a representation of some god or animal or simply a tool for picking one’s teeth? We can theorize many possibilities but it’s true meaning will forever remain a mystery. This image, as with all of the pieces from the Encased In Living Cocoon series was meant to be viewed from every angle. Each orientation will show a different side of the picture and will reveal much hidden in it’s depths.
