CHARCOAL & OIL PASTELS
FEBRUARY 2025

DESCRIPTION

The Stained Faces is a charcoal and oil pastel drawing that shows several faces piled like a stone wall each expressing their discomfort with whatever stage of atrophy they currently find themselves in. Notice the skull, which is pretty far along doesn’t seem to be in such a bad mood. This makes one wonder is it really all that bad to be at that stage of your life where you are nothing but a pile of bones?
